Why I started
Mayin Wellness
Yoga found me at a time when I needed it most. Like so many people living in a fast-paced city, I was caught in the relentless rhythm of modern life — constantly doing, rarely pausing, never truly arriving in the present moment. My first yoga class didn't just stretch my body; it gave me back something I hadn't realised I'd lost: stillness.
That experience ignited a deep curiosity that led me to formal study and, eventually, to becoming an RYT-200 registered teacher with Yoga Alliance USA. I trained across Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and restorative yoga — with specialist training in prenatal and postnatal yoga, weaving in breathwork and meditation — because I believe the most powerful practice meets you exactly where you are.
I founded Mayin Wellness because I saw a gap. So much wellness content is either inaccessible, intimidating, or one-size-fits-all. I wanted to create something different — a practice that is deeply personal, professionally delivered, and genuinely transformative.
The name Mayin is rooted in the idea of nature, flow, and rootedness — qualities I try to bring into every session. Whether you are a complete beginner stepping onto the mat for the first time, a professional seeking relief from burnout, an expectant mother preparing for birth, or a company investing in team wellbeing — you belong here.
"Yoga is not about performing poses. It is about learning to inhabit your own life with a little more grace, a little more ease, and a lot more presence.
